XP Pro SP3 is by far the best. Try to get a pure, untouched version of it because other special versions will have issues.

but in my opinion , vista is the best o.s i ve ever used .

sp3 of course. i'm against vista because i think it has alot of unnecessary memory usage and features.

Hmmm.I have used many "strange" versions of windows xp but they all tend to break down after a while of intense use.Guess it's a windows feature :).I currently use XP pro sp3 and it's pretty stable.

& my favourite xp is Windows XP Borg x64 v2, the best XP I've ever had and you don't need sp3 to run GTA IV
