    Default Software for organising music

Hey. I apologize that my english is not so good.

I want to find a program for arranging my music. One where you can easily rename tracks, automatically find the correct genre, artist, release year etc. Would also be really nice to be able to give the tracks ratings.
Also, my digital music collection is a mess right now. Its all over my computer. So would be really nice to organise it so i have no trouble finding the songs i want to hear.

I hope you guys understand. Can you recommend a certain piece of software for this?

For a full music organizer/player I would go with MusicBee MusicBee - Music Manager and Player

I've used MediaMonkey but I didn't like that it wouldn't automatically add new tracks to the archive. I still use windows media player ten cause I like it alot :)

Personally, I use Musicbrainz' Picard for tagging (and file renaming/moving) and Foobar2000 for playing, etc. It takes a while to set it up just so - but it worked best for me once it was set up. I chose that set up because my music collection took too long to search through in, for example, WinAmp. And, most of my music was full albums and not single songs and Picard is an album based tagger. (If those 2 reasons don't apply to you it probably would be a far from optimal suggestion).

Also, depending upon how much you've done with your music collection you might also consider a program like Similarity to find duplicate songs.
