Just a note that the issues with the M4 have been fixed with the latest firmware update.

OCZ Agility 3 is what I'm strongly recommending you. If you have good mobo supporting SATA3 it's a true beast.

how much did you pay ?

if you have sata 2 then dont get an ssd with sata 3 because you are wasting money

i suggest the best ssd quality is intel 510 but its expensive so i sugest Crucial SSD whit a sata 2 max best performance and price

i us OCZ Vertex 3 its the fastes SSD untel know but its not stable read is 510 Writing is 550 MB/sec it uses sandfors controller for better performance i use intel sata 3 rather then marviel

It doesn't cost much to get a raid card that supports Sata III. But if your looking for an ssd still I would say after studying a bit corsair GT or a OCZ vertex 3 are your best choices.
