Sapphire HD 6870 Dirt 3 edition. I'm using mostly Sapphire cards because I've never had any serious problems with them. I know that there are better cooling solutions, like the MSI's Twin Frozr, but I think that the Sapphire cards have better build quality due to their huge experience with ATI/AMD cards. And if I want better cooling, I can just watercool the graphics card.

Nice, I also use Sapphire and probably will keep using it on my next builds.
You can change the thermal paste to OCZ or Noctua pastes (these two are the best), it can lower the temperatures by 5 to 10 C.
Placing copper heatsinks on the components of the card also helps a bit.
Finally, ATI or should I say AMD issue fixed..
Thanks to everybody for their inputs....
Hey...i had problems with my laptop graphics a year ago.
What i learnt was that my laptop manufacturer usually has better drivers if they keep them updated...(not always best to install the ati ones)
Might be worthwhile going to HP site and look for drivers under your computer model...(make sure they are up to date)
Also check out their forums if they have it...you always find some good info there and probably people posting about similar problems..
