Default Graphics card recommendations for HTPC

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card to the Radeon HD 5450.

Does anybody have experience with this card they'd like to share on this forum?

I will only be using my PC to watch high def movies and TV shows. I have no intention of using it for gaming.

if there's an alternative card you can recommend, let everyone know.

I just built an HTPC about 2 months or so ago and I used an Asus GT430 Video Card it works awesome and you can find it for about 59.99 on Newegg.com - ASUS ENGT430/DI/1GD3/MG(LP) GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card this card is perfect for HTPC because it is also a low profile card. Oh one other thing if you are going to be using XBMC this is the card for you because it is an NVIDIA chip set and has a full size HDMI out. Can't say enough about this card!

Maybe I am a little late for thr topic. I built my HTPC about year ago and im using ATI 5450. It is about 40$ on newegg and gets the job done. Low profile and fanless is a plus since you want to eliminate as much noise as possible. I run XBMC and it works great.

The best HTPC card out right now is by far the GeForce GT 520 I prefer EVGA for their great customer service and prices with long warranties, try PART NUMBER: 01G-P3-1525-KR

I got a new ATI for the battlefield game but just look for a good card with HDMI and you should be good. I have the 6770 and love it but that would be overkill.

For under $100.00 this card would be great and basically last for a veryyyyy long time (IMO). Not sure I would go with a $30.00 card if you want to run true HD but if you not wanting the very best movie experience then the 5450 should be fine.
