    I found a program from lifsoft, but read some very distressful reviews about it

    I just read somewhere that you can do all sorts of things via Dropbox. Right now i only found this link: Remotely Shut Down PC from Mobile via Dropbox but I think modding Dropbox a bit would be the thing for you.

    I use a program called autoclose to reboot a computer daily. I have a computer recording Opie and Anthony on XM Satellite Radio daily (I can download them for free, but prefer getting them this way) and it would lock up weekly. Now with a daily reboot, I've never had an issue.

    I made a simple batch file to load programs in a certain order using "ping -n ## localhost" as a delay where ## is seconds for the delay between program execution with the start command.

    Many alarm clock programs can be used to load programs at set times too.
