    Default Number of Monitors

I was curious to see how many monitors everyone uses. I currently have 2 monitors both running at 1080P. I was thinking of getting a third in order to play FPS games better since it allows the cross hair to be on the middle screen. Everyone let me know how many monitors you are using and any thoughts concerning it.

I only use one monitor at the moment, 23" (2048x1152). Have been thinking about buying another one, but this model isn't sold anymore. So looking for one like this one.

I have two. I want three, but I don't have the desk space :( I plan on getting a third soon, but I'll probably upgrade all my monitors to the same resolution when I do that, so I can make good use of the triple setup in gamse.

Just one, using the 32" Samsung 1080P LCD in my bedroom to double duty as a 1920x1080 monitor also. I look at my son's little 24" Dell monitor and cringe because it was mine and I used to think it was a nice monitor. I dont think I will ever be able to get another monitor smaller than 30 inches now.

I thought about multiple monitor set ups. But 2 things hold me back. 1: I dont like the breaks/gaps between the screens. And 2: Cost effectiveness. I only paid $459 for this TV, has a .22 pitch screen with 1920x1080 resolution. 3ms refresh and a very high contrast ratio. Picture is almost as good as my 60" LG Plasma that we use in the living room and my kids play PS3 and Xbox on. To set up 4 monitors to get the same screen size real-estate would have cost between $800 - $1000. I can sit back in my easy chair or in bed with my keyboard and track ball and not have to squint reading the fine print. :)

I got five going at work between two computers. Six if you count the one on my setup/test bench.

Home, currently three between various computers and one TV with a system attached to it for video.

    Three monitors? AHhhhhh

Do you have more than 1 vid card on your machine? I currently have a 32 inch Sony Bravia and a 22 inch cheapo widescreen monitor. The 32 inch is all I need to work on multiple applications and the 22 inch is nice to put things like iTunes or uTorrent. I can't imagine needing more than 2 monitors especially with my main monitor being so large.
