Thread: Hp Touchpad Accesories

Just curious if anyone here has a Touochpad and if so do you have any recommendations on the accessories, mainly a case and screen protector. Ive looked at a couple different ones and have narrowed it down, but any help in this would be appreciated. The HP case looks good but at the same time ppl say it can be flimsy and doesnt have anything to secure it closed. As for screen protectors, I was wondering if a wet application one would be better of a static application one. ArmorSuit looks like a nice wet app one that can last a long time but I'm clueless in this area, any help accepted even if you have an Ipad that you have used a screen protector on. Also I havent linked anything because i am unsure if I can link to amazon.

Hello ulquiorra, I do have an HP touchpad as well, i just use a regular screen protector, I'm not so sure what you call it, it's the one where you need like a credit card or something to make sure there are no bubbles.. LOL. As for accessories, it's that and a case.. I have one that looks like an organizer when you close it, it's pretty nifty keeps my touchpad nice and intact. My girlfriend was the one who got it, she said that it was for IPAD 2. Anyway, I don't know if this is of much help but I hope it was, also... touchpad is really easy to jailbreak also, lots of ways online. You can even overclock it.. good luck!

Thanks for the response tribo, thats exactly what i was looking for. I found a decent skinomi one on amazon on sale for 3.99 + 2.95 shipping so i will probably go with that. I will look into the ipad cases since they seem to work ok and your not the first person i have heard that from. And as for the jailbreak (I believe they call it rooting on the touchpad) I planned on installing preware for it then going to port android to it since an alpha release just came out from CyanogenMod they are on build 2 atm.

Oh ya? I haven't been keeping up to date with the android release for it, let me know if you are able to install it to your touchpad, also if you can forward me to where ever you're gonna get it.. hehe thanks! :D

Thanks again, I was able to use the cyanogenmod, just installed it successfully a few hours back.
