    I like WD for my hard drive needs any day, anytime, anywhere. I'm using WD Caviar Black (i got 6 of them on my conputer, from 500gb to 2tb) and they work like a charm. Not even one failed on me.
    I have had 1 seagate and a few WD. Never had a problem with WD (I cant say the same for seagate lol)

    It's much safer to buy a bluray burner than depend on those HD, WD and SDD die too

    I think it would be useful for a lot of people specially the ones that like watching movies and series in HD

    If only i knew I was going to lose my photo and video collection I burned on DVD from 2004-2006... A little search on google gives 20M for dvd data loss....the same thing happens with Bluray since you home burner is not the same as the industrial ones used by companies

    Sorta sucks for me, I have about sixty 2TB drives waiting to go in a HTPC and a fileserver

    ....ook, I am impressed (really, never heard of anything of that amount of TB).

    Still waiting for the WD drives though

    If you want to get an idea of how reliable the company thinks their drive is just check how long the included warranty lasts. I don't buy any harddrives with warranty periods < 3 years.

    Hard drive memory is never too much,
    I have 2TB Lacie - doesn't enough
