Nvidia, I think ATI fell behind a while ago. I am biased as I am still in love with my 8800gts oc :)

They did, but they got back with the HD4**** series, at the moment they are way in the lead. =) Check some random webpages for some informations, don't know which ones to advise since I mostly visit those pages in Dutch. (Tweakers.net & Hardware.info ) It's advised all around. =) Nobody I know off who has reasonably compared them is going for nVidia at the moment. =)|

Just got the new HD4870 - dual edition
easily owns anything on the market performance-wise, but ATi are pretty bad with drivers, and although i noticed NVIDIA are not bad with their drivers, ide still take ATi's card over anything else.
they dominate the market imo.

I prefer nvidia over ati. Have only had 1 ati card which was a 9600XT and all it did was freeze. Other than that have had all nvidia with no troubles. They release alot more drivers and support is alot more vast than that of ati.

I disagree Schecken I believe nvidia dominates over ati. As does intel over amd

Ati all the way for me.I currently have a 3850 (256mb edition) and it simply rocks for it's price..best-buy in his range. All games max quality(no AA and excepting crysis) :P..I bought this card after selling my old HD2400 (crysis, medium quality,20-30fps,believe it or not) :)
No problems with drivers or temperatures..
