Thread: Google Plus?

Anybody tried Google's social network yet? I have been waiting for quite some time for Google to release it and now that it's online, I don't have an invite, although being a loyal Google user since the days when Gmail was invite only.
I have deleted my Facebook account over an year ago and since then I've been following Google Plus and waiting for it patiently.



So, what do you think about it so far (if you have tried it)?

Me too, so if i understand what i read will be like a facebook ? or a new style ?

I guess this sums it up for me although I haven't tried it yet.

There's a good overview at Engadget and there are Google's own video previews although they tend to be a bit cheesy like Apple ads.
Can't wait for my invite.

Haven't tried it yet, I'm waiting for the official announcement that Google has taken over the world.

I did like Google Copernicus though..

Oh, yeah, Copernicus was big let down :D No, seriously, when I think about it, Google+ might have been more popular instantly if it was announced on 1st April.

more users using face book vs google? I have allways used google and think it is a great search engine. anyway thanks for sharing and thanks for links

I got my hands on an invite but the invite service seems to be disabled for new users at the moment. :-\
