    Default Which operating system?

Okay, so I'm in a bit of a pickle. I just built a new computer at cyberpower.com and it's going to arrive soon. My hard drive is formatted with nothing on it and I'm torn between Windows and Linux. I'm a long time windows user and love the new windows 7 but I'm looking to broaden my horizons and maybe try out Linux. Please help me decide which to go with, I'm looking for detailed reasons why, so please, if you can't back up your argument please do not post here. Also, should I overclock it, I'm not very savvy when it comes to things like OC but I can learn quickly with tutorials and other resources. What benefits will I get from overclocking.

Here are my specs if you're interested.

Why not install Windows 7 and then install a Linux virtual machine?

    I would run dualboot!

Windows 7 on the SSD, and split the other HDD for a linux partition.
This way you can have the best of 2 worlds, and you can easily decide which system you like the best, or which system fits the best for your needs.

Btw; 1000W PSU, kinda overkill eh? :)

Windows 7 for the SSD for sure.

That's the whole point of buying one.
