Default Avoiding a lot of junk ware from pre-installed operating system

Hey guys. So I just got a new Lenovo Thinkpad W520 with a pre-installed OP but I really want to avoid all the additional crap that comes with it. Is there an easy way to streamline the PC during the initial setup so you don't get all that unnecessary clutter?

    Thanks!

There's no way to streamline the OS install if you're using the built-in install for the laptop. It installs the image with all the Vendor-Specific software on it. If you can get your hands on a copy of whatever OS it's installing, you can use a keygrabber to get the CDKey from your purchased OS ( you can also get this from computer in windows 7 and sometimes on a sticker on the laptop ) and do a fresh OS install.

You can also just uninstall them 1 by 1 and run something like CCleaner over the top once done to get rid of all the old registry entries and such.

I once did this and it worked. It may not work for you. If it doesn't work, then I am not responsible. I found a legit non cracked copy of windows (the exact version you have i.e. home, ultimate, etc.) online perhaps on a private tracker. By legit I mean it is the exact disk. When it asks you to activate or it asks for the cd key, put in the one that came with your computer. If it didn't come with one, then pull it out using magic jelly bean key finder. The cd key won't work most likely but when it fails, there should be an option to call Microsoft. Make up some sob story like "My hard drive crashed and I used a disk my friend gave me and then when I put in the cd key, it wouldn't work." In my case that's actually what happened and they gave me an unlock code and it worked right away with no problems. This way will give you a 100% clean way of installing Windows. I warn you that if it doesn't work and I am by no means telling you it will, you may lose your ability to restore to the manufacturer defaults. You should look up ghosting for ways to backup your hd in case this doesn't work.
