I pay 22€ for 30 mb ... I'm portuguese and the internet speed here still very low.
2 months ago 26€ for 12M
Right now 6€ for 1M (seriously, it kills me)
Hopefully in 2 months 26€ for 100M (current rates)
The price differences become from movin back home for summer (during college i rent an appartment).
10 USD per month
10mbps dl & 3mbps up
I pay € 70.00 per month
normaly 60 mbps download and 3.5 mbps upload
€ 30 / month
and that's for a modest 10/1 + 10/2 mobile, having two computers makes that almost viable, but the mobile connection doesn't quite like p2p traffic and I have troubles with port forwarding, and it's slow as hell at day time.
man, do I wish I lived in an apartment with fiber optics.
our prices are sick, living in a different city would already drop prices by half![]()

30$/month - 20mb/20mb
100/10 included in the rent for my apartment, so its actually for free!
Even if i would decide to not have internet, my rent would still be the same.
Until last week I was paying for Comcast's 20/12 service at about $72. It speed tested around 30/20 at times, which was decent. I've since switched to a local ISP that provides 100 Mbps up and down. It usually speed tests around 80/60. But the best part is it's only $33 per month. It uses a short-range microwave antenna on the roof of my building to transmit to a hub about a mile away.
