I have been wondering the same thing, since I changed the OS. I used to do utorrent using WINE, but I prefer a native client.
From what I have read, the best option is rTorrent (no GUI, you have to install a webui separately) as it is used on seedboxes as well, but deluge and transmission are also good.
yes rtorrent I did try to install with the rutorrent web UI support but something went wrong :P I wonder why ? Hahah
I used rTorrent when I had Linux installed on my PC, now I switched to W7 and I'm using uTorrent.
transmission is made mainly for linux and macs .. its really a gr8 client .. as far as I know ..
well I have found my best on DELUGE . Could not get rtorrent to link to WebUI :| .
My vote goes to deluge. It's easy to use and compatible with almost all the private trackers.
Transmission is my fave but if you have a lot of torrents, it's not that great - a bit hard to organise.
KTorrent is pretty good, rtorrent and deluge as mentioned above too although I only like deluge for seedboxes (it's quite an agressive seeder), it just seems a bit clunky to me.
I use transmission on my home box, though, and deluge on my seedbox. Deluge only really has an advantage over rTorrent on fast (100mbit+) connections.
Best Torrent Client On LINUX is rtorrent
