There is no setting that will allow only the original poster to get credit. Its all or nothing.

The poll has been up for a week, and everyone has had ample opprtunity to vote. The majority has spoken. The post count in that section has been disabled. We will continue to police the section and delete annoying posts, but at least now people can't use that section to artificially increase their stats.
