Default [BUG] Moving a thread where it shouldn't be.

Apparently I can't make a new thread in BitTorrent News, however, I'm able to make a new thread anywhere and then move it to this section.

    Example

It's pretty self-explanatory, an issue with the privilege system, you may want to do something about it.

The reason you cannot make a thread in the bit torrent news section is because you have to submit an article first. To submit an article you click on the submissions page then add it there. The news editors will then look over your submitted article and decide weather they deem it good enough to post in the news section.

    EDIT-Forget that^^^^^ i notice you are reporting a bug

Still, this bug beats the moderation process, so my point still stands.

    EDIT

I was a bit late to read your edit, so feel free to disregard this post.

Where can i find news editors? I'd like to submit some Bittorrent news to this community and got a lot of 'em.

P.S submitted an article waiting for a reply.

I modified the thread's title, the staff doesn't seem to get the idea of this.

Excuse me Fumeus, what do you mean the staff do not get the idea of this? as i see it what you are saying is that you can create a thread anywhere in the forum and MOVE it to the bit torrent news section, but you cannot create a thread straight in the bit torrent section because there is a restriction on that area. What is not to understand about that? now i do not have the certain privs to be able to sort out this problem, but i have PMd an admin about this matter and hopefully it will be sorted soon.

Yeah, I don't doubt you, or anyone who read the thread got the concept.

I meant the title itself, "Moving a thread" doesn't describe enough the content of the post; that's why I changed it, to help the staff on giving priority on "what to do first" at first glance.

Fumeus, thanks for letting us know! I disabled Move functionality from all usergroups except for Mods or above.
