Thread: Change Example in User Account Safety Section.

In the User Account Safety Stickie(http://www.torrent-invites.com/intro...f-editing.html), there is a fake Demonoid edited ratio proof as an example. This ratio proof has the unit's of data edited out too. This is the proof in question:http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/4690/fakeproof1a.jpg. As far as im aware, we aren't supposed to edit out the units(the "GB,MB etc. after the digits), so i think this example needs to be changed. So instead of making it 1XX.XXXX, it needs to be 1XX.XXGB

Actually, you are supposed to edit out the units, that is a primary safety concern. The only bit you are supposed to leave is the first digit, as shown in the picture.

Eg. 1XX.XXGB DOWNLOAD & 7X.XXGB UPLOAD

I dont think you understand what im trying to say. The units im refering to are the units of data, i.e "GB, MB" etc. Sorry if that wasnt clear. So instead of making it 1XX.XXGB, in the proof, it is 1XX.XXXX. It dosent allow us to see if the account is new or old. It could be 1MB uploaded and 3MB downloaded for all we can tell. As you can see in the Visqi thread, it is causing some confusion.

Great work Danz but in the IPT proof, you need to also edit out the login date as it is mentioned in http://www.torrent-invites.com/intro...f-editing.html . Otherwise, i think its OK.

I was under the impression the proofs were to be full screen as well, not just the ratio part - it helps with spotting fakes (not that anyone would stoop to such lows). If this is correct shouldn't the example be a full s/s

I think the point in having full screen s/s is that the name of the tracker should be shown in the screenchot. Hence the insistence for full screen pics. As long as the name of the tracker is shown, they should be good. I might be wrong though....maybe someone else will help.
