Thread: IRC channel

How about making an IRC channel so we get to know each other a little bit better? :)



It takes about 5 min to make one... and it can be very helpful.

Hm I would like Shoutbox bit more.

Nop.. it doesnt cost a thing... i can make one in 5 min (and i think its easier to mod then a shoutbox)

IRC > Shoutbox all the way. I despise shoutboxes. They look terrible and make sites feel amateur.

You can easily trace IP on IRC that's the reason I don't use it for invites channels

if through IRC ip can be traced out......then its better not to have IRC. .........tat may result into many bans.......

Well of course IP's can be seen on IRC if you don't have a bouncer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouncer_%28networking%29).

But it's pretty damn easy to block peers, kick/ban intruders/bots/tor users, etc.

IRC is very easy to set up, and shoutboxes are a bit out of range with IRC imo.

Just a suggestion though.
