I think that's an excellent idea... it would allow users to jump straight to the threads where things are taking place. That would encourage the users to get to know one another and make this community a happier place.

I agree as well. Sometimes I see an interesting topic that was replied to in the shoutbox, and it would be nice to be able to click on it to access it right away.
But I don't think something like that is possible to do sadly :(
Sometimes I just click the words (out of habit) thinking it will take me there.
That would be awesome feature to implement & would def increase participation in active forums.

jk, but seriously this is a good idea. I too have clicked on the words hoping for something to happen.
