Thread: intro section ,,, it's a mess !!!

Along time ago I didn't logged to the intro section ,,, about 2 weeks
as soon as I get in it ,, I didn't believe my self that this is the same intro that I left
I don't know why I remembered the youtube video which called " Leave Britney alone "




alot of the intro threads were perfect matches put waiting for being repped ,, but no one did and it's in the third page and so ,, and when he/she bumped it the users start saying it's a spamming
and there's a users with less than 50 post and can't rep anybody and they are saying welcome ,, and telling to edit the newbies post ( THE IRONY IS THE NEWBIE TELLING THE OTHER NEWBIE ABOUT THE RULEZ ) and I think there posts are pointless

I am not blamming the user nor the mod ,, but we have to start doing something ,,, there should be a choisen members and intro mod which they are the only users can post in this section .. or any good idea that can take all the appliers with the same point of view ... I am sorry but it's a mess ,, I posted in several intros threads and I am waiting them to answer ,,, I can't post in other thread because I can't handle and monitor it all

but if there any idea for the intro section to become a better section ,, I am the first to apply

I know I don't have that much rep ,, and there's alot of better members here than me ,,, but I want to give to T-I what ever I took ,, all the member are my new online family

agree, have a question though. I'm I allowed to rep in people or is it just chosen members who are allowed to do that? I just wanna help out :)

Yes you can rep in members simonwenn, just be careful who you rep in. The person you repped in is your responsibility.

@ Broken Heart - I don't understand, if you are asking to help out at the intro section, yes you can - it's a volunteer job

Oh and yeah, it'd be good if we could keep the newbies away from the intro section and prevent them spamming. If we could cut their access to that section after they've been repped in till they reach 33% - their posts don't count there anyways so... (though most of them aren't aware of that!)

all I am asking is to ask some members to volunteer in repping the newbies ,, and I can't keep the new members who are spamming there and thinking spamming there is countable of posting there ,, I am not a mod and if I told them in an intro thread ,,, I will be spamming too

I believe you are speaking of me. I do agree that the intro is a mess, but honestly, what the person was doing was spamming. It was very obvious that he was an impatient person.

Not trying to dis your recruiting methods, just looking out for cool headed folks to get in this glorious site, thats all.

I wasn't talking about you ,, really !! in that intro thread I didn't looked at my date of the first and the last post of his on the thread

but did you looked at the rest of the intros ??? I really don't know why there's alot of the applier who are trying hard to get in and they have good intro after editing it ... but I don't want to disrespect any other member ,, but I think they are all advising the applier to edit the intro with out repping him after the editing

donno why ,, But I think They as like me ,, don't remember where did we replied ... but if there's a dedicated members to the intro section this problem as I think this problem will end

i agree with this. too much spam for nothing in intros (are countless also) so the members under 33% or under 50 post can be restricted to post there because is pointless.
