    Default How long ago info

I think it would be very useful if by the side of every post/thread's date and time it has a how long ago info. For Example:

    11-06-2011 10:16 PM 4 days and 2 hours ago

    or

Yesterday 10:27 PM 1 hour and 19 minutes ago

It'll also help the users that don't config their timezone!

    What do you think mates?

Good suggestion. I don't really mind how it is at the moment, but if it is not too time-consuming to implement then it would be nice.
And I do not think that it would lead to any additional cluttering of the threads or what not either.

I would never dare to risk stepping on your toes, but I am a bit confused. Because this is what it looks like for me at the moment:

And I guess what Capivara is suggesting would look something like this:

Is there any way with current site options to enable this format?

This mod would be especially valuable for the Guests, who HAVE TO deal with the set timezone.

But as I like my forums to be simple and clean, I'd also want to be able to disable the "Last post date" option, if possible, from the General Settings.

/me runs off to do some googling on vbulletin plugins :P

Yeah, that's correct. Just tested it out.

Personally I prefer the current system, but I am indifferent on the whole.

Picture of what it looks like when set to "detailed"

Good idea IMAGINE! T-I could implement this mod, but if the user want it could be disabled by his will!

I think the 'Detail view' mode would be pretty good, but only as addition, because it would give people another alert when they think about reviving a one year old thread. It would at least take away some of their excuses for doing it :)

If you need help feel free to PM me, but keep in mind that asking for an invite is not considered help.
