Thread: Correction of a small glitch in the iGiver system

It's just a small thing I found on the site that contradicts the recent changes the have been made to the iGiver system recently.

Following this link: http://www.torrent-invites.com/itrader_main.php (Community --> iGivers), not only the top givers and the hall of shame can been seen, but also the recent ratings; these also shows the usernames involved in the iGiver transfer.



I propose that this page should be removed:

1. With the 100+ iGiver club thread, there's no reason to have the top givers displayed in this manner
2. Hall of shame has little use, as users are unlikely to go past -1, or even some at -2.
3. And recent ratings should not be displayed in this fashion in concordance with the recent changes made to the iGiver system.

I know it's a minor thing, but I could not make myself not post it, since my paranoia told me tracker staff could track information from here, and use that information for the same purpose, which demanded the recent iGiver changes.

I completely agree I did not even know that page exist , all the links to the giveaways related to the iGivers are accessible to everyone , and just like you said it should be removed .

100+ club shows all users with 100+ iGivers based on user's posts.

Personally I like that page and would prefer to keep it in place. I understand the "paranoia" and such with the reasons why things have been changed recently. However if a staff member from a tracker wishes to investigate us for giving away invites to the site they staff at there are other ways they can accomplish this.

However I am sure this is not a simple task anymore with the new system in place.

Duv brings up a good point. I just removed the Recent Ratings column, but left Top Rated & Hall of Shame.

Is there any reason to restore the Recent Ratings column? It's possible to restore that column and edit the template so either the inviter or invitee is not listed. Although removing it completely is the simplest solution. If someone can come up with a good reason for having that info listed I'll consider restoring it.

BTW - We could also remove the "Hall of Shame" column as well, but the page would look awfully empty with just 1 column.

Looks fine as is. I mainly liked the page for the hall of shame and top igiver column. Although it does look a bit weird with 2 columns lol.
