A good selection of avatars would be cool I think. It would be a smaller step for starting members to pick an avatar from the ones that are officially provided by T-I instead of designing something yourself or searching the web and then re-size it with no luck. And if you wish to have no avatar, then you should have the option to choose so. Also, if there's going to be a competition on this, it had better last at least two months so that everyone has time to contribute with something.

IMO, it makes the site look better for others viewing it, regardless of whether a person takes care of their account or not. TBH, I've never once bothered to use an avatar on any other site than this. I just don't normally care to go out and find one and I'm no good at making one, but I love viewing others.
