So yea. With the T-I v3 update, the reason that someone got banned doesn't show in profiles anymore. Is there any way to put it back? I just like to see what people did, because I am sick like that

I must admit, I also used to find that interesting! The comment would also say if it was temporary or permanent, that could be useful to know.

Not only do I like this idea, but I also suggest this modification:
Banned Users List - vBulletin.org Forum
EDIT: Hm, didn't know we had it already. Thanks SB!
Makes reasons for bans more public & prominent and will (hopefully) deter people from breaking the rules!

well if you go into quick links you will find the ban list among the drop down menu and the reason why people got banned if you are really interested a little more work but since you sick like that well worth it
only the shadow knows the evil in the heart of men
Is there any way that this can happen? Maybe with a plugin or something. It's too much work to go and find them in the list, and all I look at it for is for a quick reference to why they were banned. If I can't have it on the same page, then I don't really need it ;)
I wholeheartedly agree that this should be re-implemented. It was nice that with the previous system you easily saw why someone was banned when clicking on their profile. With the new system, if I see some name I recognize as being banned I'm of course curious as to the reason and go to their profile (I'm curious, not sick!), I'll check what their last posts were if they were on the Chopping Block and sometimes that is not the case so it makes their ban very ambiguous. I am aware of the Banned User list, however, I searched for one user on there and they weren't even listed, yet banned, which makes it very confusing.
It could seem to the new user that people are being banned indiscriminately with how often you come across a banned user's post, and to have the reason on the profile page itself could help alleviate concerns for those people (and also more effectively drill in the rules for new members, as they will not know/take time to view the Banned User list).

i also wanna see this for the reasons everyone else has said and also how about the times where someone has invited someone to a tracker only to see that the next week/month/whatever they have been banned from here
also coz im a sick nosey bastard who takes pleasure in seeing others suffer by being banned
on another forum i was on a long time ago we had a problem with people trying to make dupe accounts once we started to say they had been banned for it and left it on their profile in big letters the number of people trying went way down, its more like a constant reminder of the rules and what happens if you break those rules which is always a good thing
i'd like this re-implemented as well. if i see someone who i've given an invite to is now banned from t-i, i always go in to check the reason. if it's a recent ban then it's usually on the first page of the banlog, and if it's cheating/trading etc then i can usually see a chopping block thread by checking their last posts, but sometimes there is no trace, and i have to go through pages on the banlog.
it would be much easier if it was listed on their profile like before. it should be easy enough to implement anyway, just one line of code added to the template.
I have to give my support to this suggestion! The reasons in favour are already listed in prior posts :)
+1 for this suggestion or at least option to search in the list http://www.torrent-invites.com/ban_log.php ...
