Thread: IRC Lotto Contest

To help ramp up the activity a bit, I'm holding a contest in #Torrent-Invites.
All you have to do is type "LOTTO" (without the quotes) in the channel.

The rules are as follows:

• Normal T-I rules apply for invites.
• You must have at least 5 iGiver.
• You must have at least 25 posts.

If you don't want any invites or don't meet the prerequisites, you can still play.
If you win you can simply give your prize to someone else who does qualify!

Please make sure I am in the IRC channel before typing LOTTO or it will not work.
The contest will run continuously and will allow multiple winners.
Winners must post the prize of their choice in
this thread within 24 hours of winning.


You may only use the LOTTO command once every 2 hours.

Odds are improved by the following:
-(x1) per ten invites and bonuses offered *
-(x1) per member making a donation
-(x3) per 1 week seedbox
-(x3) VIP offered

* You may offer as many invites and bonuses to the same tracker as you wish,
but they are not cumulative. This is to prevent someone from throwing a wrench in
the system by adding 1000 MyAnonamouse and permanently settings to the odds to max.

Other possibilities are available for improving the odds as well.

Donations have to be decent and are subject to my (and staff members') approval.
I'm not improving the odds because one person donated one invite to demonoid.

Starting sometime this weekend it will be bumped up to 3 times per day, but it will be set on an 8 hour timer, meaning the LOTTO command will only work one time every 8 or more hours. You will be automatically notified when your 8 hours is up. Good luck to everyone! I have more surprises for the lotto in the future, so stay tuned!

Okay gang, here's what's new: Instead of twice per day, you are now allowed to use it once every 2 hours. It can't be abused. If you use the LOTTO command before your 2 hours is up, it will simply tell you how much time you have remaining before you can play again.
