Thread: best game of all time: BG invite

What is the best game of all time and why. Answer correctly for a BG invite

Must be pong... A pure hardware-based game. I once heard Steve Wozniak explain how he saw one of the first pong games somewhere, when he was young, and how he couldn't get this out of his mind and said to himself that he must be able to build something like that himself. And he did... (And if you don't know who I'm talking about: a few years later the guy made the macintosh, founded Apple with Steve Jobs, ...) :)

I vote Final Fantasy VII

Why? This was the first game which is very complete RPG.. There are racing, breeding, fighting, boxing, gambling, etc. Not only the storyline was great, the gameplay was also really great.. There are many mini games inside, and there are also many hidden things inside this game (can be optionally played during the games) which you may not find during your first play of the games. I've played this games more than 10 times and I'm still love it till now..

Sorry to spam but, how on earth can this be a good competition when the premise is purely relative to the person who plays the game? Wow.

I first wanted to post a similar remark. But I think (hope) he means that he'll reward the one with the best explanation or something like that. I sure hope he doesn't believe that there is one specific best game ever, as a right answer to his question... :p

Any way: I'm not competing for the invite, since I'm already on that tracker ;)

I will join mecht on this. This is actually a poll, not a competition. The gaming experience is 100% personal, so Ms. PAC-MAN would be a valid answer, and Starcraft II too.
So all you will get here is spam and a long discussion about who's right or wrong, or better who's more right and who's less wrong.

@thedemon13666: You have another similar thread here, and it's another poll. Opinon, even backed up, will still be opinion. I see no competition in that.
