Hey guys, I got this question and whoever can answer it properly will get and invite. I have 5 available.


How come people tell you not to stand in front of an emergency exit when if there was an emergency surely you would run through it?

because you're visually blocking it and in case of an accident people might look for it but since you are right in front of it they're not able to tell that where you are is the opportunity to leave the building

well..usually its in big red and a light above the door that says EXIT.

dont know how i could block that.

Sometimes emergency exits have alarms on them, maybe they're afraid if you're standing too close to it you'll accidentally bump it an set off the alarm?

The people that tell you that want to save themselves first. They want to stand by the exit.

I would agree with not setting off the alarm. I would also have to say that if there is an emergency maybe you you could be in the way if you do not react quickly. I would want certain people to take charge of the situation, who knows what winner might be in the way. Just like the airplane.... They should be more selective.
