Thread: Riddle for 1 IPT invite

Hey there everyone. I have a fairly easy riddle to be solved for a IPT invite. The riddle goes as follows:



Two convicts are locked in a cell. There is an unbarred window high up in the cell. No matter if they stand on the bed or one on top of the other they can't reach the window to escape. They then decide to tunnel out. However, they give up with the tunneling because it will take too long. Finally one of the convicts figures out how to escape from the cell. What was his plan to escape?

Ha ha. I had to google him. I didn't know he was the Prison Break guy. I have heard alot of good things about that show, I have just never seen it. Not quite what I was looking for, but nice try though.

They could pile up the dirt they digged up, and then stand on it to get to the window.

would they take the dirt from the tunnel they dug to make a mound that they could climb on to reach the window?

Probably not since it seems like the guards would notice a big mound of dirt...

Alternatively, one of the inmates could fake a heart attack, and the other could call for help. When the guard comes, the one who called for help could whack the guard over the head with the shovel they were using to dig their way out.
