Thread: One for the artists (chance to win a PtN invite)

So, I am scouring the intarwebz for a high res photo, and I am unable to find anything that really catches my eye. So, I am giving away my one and only invite to PtN to the winner of this competition. I will still request 2 ratio proofs from the winner, because I do love my PtN account, but you all understand that.

Now, for the specifics, and why this competition is being held. I am helping a very close friend of mine practice her shading and coloring, so I'm getting a phoenix tattooed on my chest. Only problem is, I have an idea of what I'd like, and I can't find anything that fits it, and anything that gets close is not high res enough to blow it up to the right size. So, I'm turning to my friends here at T-I in the hopes that there is an amazing artist here that can create one (by hand or on the computer). As I said, the winner will get a PtN invite, but not only that, the winning entry will also be tattooed on my chest. So I'd like this to be an original. The plan is for the phoenix's body to run along my sternum, the head just below my collar bone, and the tail extending just below my pecs. Wings outstretched over my pecs, and a tear rolling down the beak. Colors: orange, yellow, red, white, anything fiery. Some blue is nice too. Outside of that, you are free to use your imagination. You can submit as many times as you like, competition ends next Friday, tattoo will be done that weekend.

I've been doing a lot lately, and trying to get my life back on track, a rebirth of myself, if you will. That's what this piece is going to symbolize for me, so I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has.

A great place to look for one is DeviantArt. I am not sure if you are looking for a full color tattoo or more of a conceptual image. Anyway, hope this leads you in the right direction. Here's one bro:

I couldnt find anything special for you , but i would just like to say that the image from your third link and the one posted by d0ct0rpr0 is stunning !!!!!!! you should choose either one as a refrence (personally the tatoo on the back near the shoulder would be better than one in a chest)
