    Default Want to learn PHP?

I had never really touched PHP at all until I came accross these tutorials,

Now I am continuing to learn and expand my knowledge!

I thought I'd share if there's anyone else wanting to learn out there!

This is part 1 out of 6 in the YouTube tutorials

Learning programming languages with video tutorials is very bad and is not effective. Better buy\download a good book if you want to.

I recommend you to take a look at "Beginning PHP5: David Mercer, Allan Kent, Steven D Nowicki"

Of course you can find and download it's electronic version

IMO, before running into PHP get to know some basics. C.

Otherwise you wont be able to get the whole picture, unless you dont mind.

PHP has a very low learning curve therefore if you do jump into those books directly you'll find yourself generating low quality code, for sure.

    Good luck.

Sorry this is now an old topic, but it is premature. Now I have made a professional career which came rom this tutorial.. I now work with HTML, CSS, PHP , MySql, JavaScript and jQuery. So it doesn't matter how basic and premature it is, it is still a stepping stone from where I started!!!
