Thread: Auto Uploader

First off let me say Im not sure if I should post here or elsewhere on TI.
Sorry to staff if this is the wrong place.
Also I am willing to pay for this to be done for me, so give prices if you are interested.



So, what I would like would be to have an Auto Torrent Uploader.
I know there are a few already out there, but i have tried and do not know how to install them for Linux or Windows.

What I would need it to do:

-Torrents downloaded to my server by RSS (could even be irssi) into a download folder.
- Create a torrent from the downloaded folders, or single files.
- Upload it to a tracker with proper announce
- Upload into the correct category
- Upload should contain nfo, sfv, etc
- nfo should be the description
- imdb on description from the nfo (where applicable)
- Start seeding once uploaded in torrent client


This could be for Linux (Any) or Windows Web Server 2008
uTorrent or ruTorrent

I may have missed something, if so ask about it and I will let you know.

For a reference should be something similar to the Janhouse Torrent Uploader.

Why don't you just buy Janhouse? If you don't know how to program, you'll have to pay someone to do this, and I bet you it will be more expensive than paying for Janhouse.

It's not too hard if you now how to code, as you could do this purely in a scripting language (bash, perl, python, php, ruby, etc) on a cron job.

thats right, it might be useful, just try it out.

I have bought Janhouse v3. Do not know how to set it up. Janhouse set it up, then my HDD on the server died. I was lucky enough to have saved the folder with the info that was setup. But I do not know how to get all of the dependancies in Cygwin going again. Apache, and PHP are on the server as well already. All I need is for it all to be connected. Other than that it is all there.
