Canada in the winter is no place for a bike, motor or not! Not everywhere is like Cailfornia.

and who said you can't cycle when the weather is bad? gore-tex is your friend

with such an attitude we surely will hit energy crisis sooner rather than later...
    Agreed

Motorbikes are mint too, it's so much better to be out in the open than stuck in a muggy car on a hot summer day. I own a zx6r but want to upgrade to a zx10r soon, it's gonna be sick!

Last summer, I realized that sitting in my chair in front of the computer is not going to improve my health, so I decided to do something. First, I got my bike repaired. After that, it was only a matter of setting up a plan. The best way to start out is to just go out there and get a feel for the activity, I figured, and so I did. The only goal I had in mind was to get some sunshine on my skin and fresh air down my lungs.

After a few times, I planned the route more precisely and made it my track which I would then follow every time for the next two to three months. A drive around my town was sufficient, and the time it took of my free time was about an hour every turn, but it gave back so much more. You would be surprised how it affects you, how great the boost of energy is. The feeling of absolute revitalisation is unbeatable.

You probably think that it is too tough for you, because you will be too tired to cycle, and lead your bike home instead. All I can say is that no hill is too tough once you learn to not focus on getting home again. You do not even have to put a lot of strain in your legs to get somewhere, because I found that starting out easy is the best method. It is not a competition.

Aside from whatever effects you may notice afterwards, you will notice the degenerating effect it has when you stop cycling when the winter season comes. The energy will be depleted, and there will be a loss of life quality, and that is how you were before you started cycling.

Finally, get out and get yoruself a new life!

    americans are super lazy,
to go to their neighbor's house,
    they would need to drive,
i dont see y they cant walk or ride a bike,
    its good for them

    Had 2 bikes.
    Both stolen now.
Just keep the damn bikes for yourself and let us car lovers have our cars.
