    Default Which Car?

I'm looking to buy a new car and it's my first car after passing my test and i'm not sure what car to get. Can any recommend any good, reliable cars for a first car? Budget for the car would be around £1000

Ford Focuses are good first cars. They are actually pretty reliable, and get great gas mileage. Mine gets about 38 miles to the gallon.

Buy a junker. Your probably a kid since you just passed you test. Vehicles are expensive to maintain and insure. Get something that when you blow up the engine from neglect or worse wreck, you still have a little money left. I know when I got my first car I could barely afford to keep gas in it. So something with good gas mileage will help. Low maintenance, good gas mileage.
