Thread: what happens in a mechanics shop when it starts to get cold...

in the north east when it starts to get colder. and the kids are back in school. cars dont come in as frequent as they do when it is warm out. i been working in a shop for five years and every fall season i need to keep busy. here's some things that entertain me and maybe you should give a shot if you have the chance.

Blow up 1 Gallon windshield washer bottles! put a hole in the top of the cap with an air line fitting in it...pinch and air hose off and connect it. when you're ready.. unkink the hose and BOOM. pressure rip it up...!



i accidentally found on youtube that you can make another type of pressure bomb flammable !! chlorine and alcohol make a chlorine bomb, me and my friends been doing these for years. but recently i found out making it with brake fluid makes it highly flammable. good times. good fumes!

We do crap like that to. My favorite thing to do is grab full cans of paint and take the nozzle off the top. Then you whack the top of the can against a wall which breaks the little tube/valve (whatever you wanna call it) and paint just comes pouring out. Then we throw it in the other sections. Paint pours out everywhere and it looks like coloured smoke. The boss always has a sad when we do it though =p

We also fill little bags with flammable liquids and chuck them under people who are welding. They catch fire from the sparks/spatter and once they are done they notice it. If the kick the bag fire just spreads all over the floor and if the jump on it they get owned by a massive fireball =P Tis lots of fun indeed. It's not all that dangerous because of the clothes we wear.

usually too busy getting nasty cold slush melting off car and onto my head and face! Ughhh I hate winter in the shop!!
