Default When are you allowed to take driving license in your country?

As the topic says: At which age are you allowed to take driving license in your country? And are you allowed to "practice" with a teacher/parent before that? If so, which age?

I can tell ye that in Sweden you can begin to practice with a parent at an age of 16 and then you can take the driving license when you're 18years old.

In Washington you can get your permit at 16 years, and your license at 18 years.

In Norway its the same as in Sweeden.
You can start practice when you are 16 (after you have done some theoretical stuff..) and get the license when you are 18.

In the Netherlands it's all 18, the only thing you're allowed to do before 18 is drive in simulators and drive a Moped (from 16). Rules are very strict here anyway when it comes to learning how to drive, you're only allowed to practice driving in a modified car which has 2 sets of pedals (one for the teacher/parent) which I think is relatively unique in the world.

In Denmark you are allowed to get a license at 18.
As far as I know, you are not allowed to practice with parents. Only if you do it on a private property i guess.
When taking the license there is also pretty strict rules to apply, saying that you need to get a certain amount of theoretical and practical training. After each course both you and the teacher signs a paper that documents that you recieved the training.

You can get a license for a moped when turning 16. And start taking lessons when turning 15. But you need 24 hours of training before getting the license.
