Thread: Have you ever took part in a car crash / collision / accident or got a ticket?

Got in a nice accident last year. I live in Chicago. I was riding shotgun in my friend's car coming home on the Dan Ryan (a 5 lane expressway, mix of civilian and commercial traffic, packed at rush hour but moving at 55MPH). Some asshole truck driver in the lane to the left of us decided he wanted to get into our lane without looking and turned the front right tire of his 18 wheeler into the rear driver's side door of my buddy's early 90s Mercury Tracer. It was a ride needless to say. We are very lucky to be alive today. We got turned, hit the wall, spun around, were staring the truck head on face to face, got hit again, and got ground in between the divider wall and the truck. Ended up turned around 180 degrees facing oncoming traffic. Here's the best of the pics:



Both of us walked away without a scratch. The car wasn't that lucky.

well,i personally still didn't pass my driving test so i dont have license,but once i was with my friend in a party and it was at the beach,we were about to leave when some idiot from the party started to drive like an asshole and drift all over the sand,then when we actually started to move he was cutting us,and then just stopped for unkown reason. we kinda crushed into him,nothing serious happened but my friend's winker kinda turned into flicker lol.

Thanks to God, No. But i have seen an accident by my own eyes. It was horrific. I can't describe the scene. It was b/w a van and a car.

I got hit by a freaking forklift and the blades went through the top piller of my car like butter. Glad I still have my head.. lol

Never been in an accident but lost my license twice aleardy :( Parking tickets are pretty usual when you work around town and park where ever

I've gotten 3 speeding tickets. My second one however freaked me out. I was vacationing in Florida (I go every year for a few months) and was driving from Miami to the west coast. The speed limit is 70 MPH, and I was traveling at 102 MPH at the time that I was pulled over. I was lucky that the cop dropped it to 99 MPH, because anything over 100 MPH is a mandatory court appearance (in a place that I don't live!) and I would have had to stay in the States for a while.

dude I wrecked my mamas car once and she whipped my arse...it was not a good scene

only been into one accident, but it was a major one. got into a 3-4 car accident on a main bridge..i guess the person infront of the lady infront of me tapped there brake lights and the lady got scared and slammed on her brakes full force , so I crashed in the back of her, and the guy behind me crashed into me, and one more person behind them. After insurance settlement it was partially my fault because I should have given her more room (although there was no reason for her to brake how so did to a stop) buut, it was the other peoples fault for hitting me (I guess if you hit someone from the back its automatically your fault)..

so guess what, everyone can drive away except me because my car is totalled from the front and back, so while everyone gets a drive away off the bridge I gotta wait there.. Im dumb and for some reason I try to call a tow truck..THey respond by saying they can't tow on a bridge (obviously lol) and I gotta call 911..CHP had to push my car to the point where it was safely off the bridge..

rip 03 altima, she died at an early age of only 70k miles..



AND TICKETS?? dont get me started..I have waay too many tickets for only being 21. I've been good this past year, but on the 4th of july weekend I got a tint ticket..
so far ive in my life ive had about 5 speeding tickets, 1 failure to drive on right half of roadway, illegal modified exhaust, like 3 illegal tinted windows tickets, no front license plate, changing lanes with no signal, talking on phone while driving, no seatbelt..

yeah my driving record and insurance sucks, but im good now..can't afford that expensive way of driving anymore..Im sick of getting tickets for my tints tho! I dont see why its illegal but....
