Thread: Anyone owner of a motorcycle?

You cannot always get as yo like i life....
In time I´m very sure in time you will enjoy your 250R a lot more on the open roads or at the tack, like you would enjoyed a big noise and loud speaking HD dream...

Thats My bike.

My bike is dead. Last week I messed up and pulled right out in front of lady when she was doing about 35. I thought it was a 4 way stop. Ouch.

I'm not dead, and that's good. I just happened to be all decked out in gear at the time (leather coat, gloves, helmet, sweater, jeans) and I more or less rolled across the top of her car. Banged up my knees, elbows and ribs, and the left peg jammed into my shin, removing a big hunk of skin and bruising the bone. Only road rash I got was on the very small portion of skin exposed between my glove and coat.

Everything hurt for the first few days. So much pain. Things evened off after about a week, and I'm finally able to walk without a gimp (it's been 8 days).

Looking at buying a used Harley Sportster 1200 to replace it. The front end is just destroyed on my bike (Suzuki intruder vs800).

Ouch. I'm just glad to hear that you came out of that relatively unscathed. You may be sore and bruised and need a new bike, which all sucks.. but at least you didn't break any bones - or worse. And in the end, that is what really matters. Bikes are great for a lot of reasons, but obviously they leave us somewhat exposed in an accident. Hope that you're feeling better soon. And that you enjoy your new bike.

I recently got a new bike, Suzuki GSF 1200 SK1 (Bandit) Only been on it once as it was a fixer-uper but love it! = )

I own a Yamaha YZf R1 last years model.. its my fix for stress... Bad day at work = easy start up the bike and all my stress just disappears lol.. Fastest i have been is 120mph on it down the motorway at 2am was a blast
