One of the main problems with having a bike is that you have to share the road with people who have cars.

I def. prefer a motorcycle to a car. Even though its been a bit since i've had one. Kinda hard to ride motorcyle with tools when you have contracting company. But soon I will.

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE!! i couldnt tell you how many times i have almost been killed by people who pay no attention when they drive..and my bikes loud and i mean its really loud..i drive down the street to work at 5:00 in the morning and car alarms go off loud. so i would assume that 90% of the people in the cars can hear me and yet i still almost get hit regularly on the high way...

I think you pretty much have to have a car for poor weather and general shopping, I'm not a huge fan of grocery shopping on a bike. However, whenever possible I much prefer riding to driving, for the same reason I prefer a manual transmission to an automatic in a car, just makes you feel more of a part of the vehicle.

Makes me think of that line from Jarhead "This is my sport bike. Though there are many like it, this one is mine. Without me, my sport bike is nothing. Without my sport bike, I am nothing."

    I ride a Honda CBR600 btw.

I hope in the car and drive and relax... grab drink and enjoy.
i've never really riden a bike before but i guess it can be fun.. driving in the country feels alive and part of the world....
in the car, i guess it feels secluded and protective.

I have always have a car around but rarely use it unless it's snowing or something lol. I like 99% use my bike. Especially when I was in Athens that the traffic is crazy. I have moved to Oz recently though and it seems they have no traffic around here, at least in SA that is. Going to get a new gsxr though first chance and leave the car to the wife lol.
