Thread: Fiat boss crashes his Ferrari 599 GTB

This sickening sight is the handiwork of Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne, the accident occurring on Friday night along a stretch of highway in Switzerland. Marchionne was driving on the A1 highway between Rothrist and Gunzgen when a Renault in front of him suddenly slowed down and his Ferrari ending up crashing into its rear.

According to newspaper Corriere della Sera, Marchionne was doing about 100km/h (62mph) when the accident occurred. Neither Marchionne nor the 76 year old driver of the Renault were harmed by the accident.

At least it’s not a smashed Enzo we’re reporting on, however seeing a 599 in this state still gives us a little heartache.

That can almost bring tears to the eyes. Those cars are loved from conception/building/testing/and even pricing.

LOL that's too LAME for him to ride a Ferrari & just dump his own trademark...what a strange thing...I guess one of his new Fiat cars just cursed him for too long that he preferes a Ferrari over a Fiat,so he got jumped by evil luck :P

The Car&Driver writers wrecked the 599 they were test driving too, just not as bad. The driver drifted a lil too much coming out of a corner and slid the rear into a rock wall slightly. Minor damages, but still hilarious.
