    Default Current situation in Egypt

So, I wonder what do you know about this and what opinion you stand for in this... Show me your worldwide political knowledge :)

My opinion on this matter is that current government in Egypt needs to be brought down at any cost. I hate violence, it is one of few things I reject most with every little bit of my body and soul, and the way Egyptian government ruled and rules pretty much till this very day is awful, and is fully responsible for current situation in the state, all hurt people and deaths, as well as poverty and unemployment.
I wonder why OSN or any other organization dedicated to secure world peace is not fuckin helping those people in the streets at this very moment. Does anyone know if this is at least matter in hand of OSN right now? There are people dying, tanks and water cannon in streets, and pretty much ALL the people in the streets giving out there opinion about their fucked up government, is the rest of the world at least doing something?

Generally people are very passive and will hardly do something about unsatisfying situation in the country, util it's just beyond what they can stand. The only fact that people of Egypt are actually on the streats (and in such numbers!) is enough evidence that the government/president is a complete and total fail.

As for the "rest of the world" "doing something" what do you think should we do? Supress their army and police with few accurate bombings? :P I don't think any state can do anything rather than just expressing their wish of end of the violence and democratic political system in Egypt.

yeah theres not much the rest of the world can do since they essentially shut the door on the entire world, digitally. unless we physically go to egypt i dont see the rest of the world, us commoners, doing much of anything. id say a ddos on some government site but oh wait, their internet is gone. not to mention cell phones as well. o.O

honestly, i wish i had an opportunity to be a part of something like that. being physically active in overthrowing my own government... id feel like i am accomplishing something in life :D

Ahahahah no, but do not tell me other country's don't have enough power to make them stop killing their own people. Any action is better than just watching people getting run over by tanks and expressing wishes. But that is what happens most of the time.
When US of A is capable of sending their military force in the MIDDLE of Islamic world to take down a country, there is no reason they couldn't do a good thing. No wait, good thing, no way... :)

Sorry Arminic, but you are wrong. The USA shouldn't do anything. That is one of my countries biggest downfalls, getting into other countries business when they shouldn't. We can work diplomatically, but as for physical force, that should only be reserved when the world is in peril.

Egypt must fight this fight themselves. It is a battle that is best resolved by the people. Think about it, what would be greater? Egypt being ambushed by US troops, or the people rising up and taking back what is theirs?

The sad part is, when a government is in a tyranny state, they will use all their military power and strength to get their way. Even if that means killing their own people. For China it worked. The government took control of the people by force and at a tragic rate. The real heart behind such actions are the soldiers. They must make the choice for liberty. They must have the courage to defy commands and stand up for human rights.

You mean it is better to people do the violent part than forces payed for this? I don't mean do it like in Iraq, I say help the people overpower military force of Egypt and support them with needed aid.
I mean, i know in THIS rotten world this is impossible, but do you really consider it bad for one state to help people of other state set stable peace again?

i dont think the US should use force to help Egypt. but i believe the US is thinking about stopping the $1.5B in foreign aid to Egypt. i, however, think they shouldnt stop the aid otherwise Egypt really is going to spin out of control. but hey isnt Mubarak up for reelection in the fall? his days are numbered.

Yeah, violent... I got a little ahead of myself up there :( But what i thought is that they sure possess the power to make army forces of Egypt to stop doing what they're doing now.
It kinda angers you when stuff like this is happening and people who have the power to stop this thing just keep blabbering... Just another country getting even more poor and miserable cause of stupid people above them.

Congratz on your 100th post btw :))
