I think its wrong. These children are thought from a very young age that they have to look perfect and that loosing is not a option. They get facial surgery even though they are much too young for it. The parents doing this (99% of the time its the mothers) are trying to achieve something that they didn't and still don't have, recognition that they are better than someone else.

These kids end up traumatized for the rest of their lives with a warped view of the world. Its wrong and its sickening.

I think it's an overall bad idea. I feel like the child beauty pageants are more for the crazy ass mothers then the children. Just another example of parents trying to live through their children.

These contests are f'in pathetic. It does no good for anyone, gives the pedophiles something to look at, and causes many kids to have a miserable life.

In my city of HiTharville, these are outlawed.

In my city SABIGDOGTOWN kids are mud, swings, bicycles, waterwars and treehouses are encouraged. Beauty pageants are severely frowned upon. Give children a chance to be children, the pressures of live will get them in the end, no need to try and speed things up.

What do you think? Is this tantamount to child abuse, or do I just have it all wrong?
This looks like an adult's head has been Photoshopped onto a child's body.
