I wasn't really sure how to phrase this title. I was debating something like, do you talk to yourself?, but that is too narrow and an easy yes or no question.
Last night I was laying in bed talking to myself, having external conversations with myself and people that weren't really there (yes, I knew they weren't), and got to wondering. I wondered how many other people just out loud talked to themselves, or talked to themselves and hosted another party talking as well? If people don't do that, how do they interact with themselves, if at all.
I just can't imagine someone not having full on conversations with themselves. I mean, what do most people do when they're alone and quiet, when there is nothing going on. Or when they are in the shower, there is nothing going on, it's a perfect time to have a two sided conversation about a subject on your mind, or rehearsing a situation that may or may not be something real that could happen in your life.
So my question to you is this, and please, explain in detail, how you interact with yourself on an intellectual level, if at all?

Just kidding, I too do this a lot more nowadays after an assault I was a victim of, due to constant self-questioning of myself and the world around me....and yes I am in therapy

Love to live
