Happiness comes from doing something you want to do in life. People become unhappy when they take jobs just to make money or take a job that they don't actually like and get stuck with it. All they do is work and are too tired or just don't have the motivation to do something they actually want to do in their free time. Accomplishing goals lead to happiness. If you don't set yourself any goals of course you won't be happy.
