The Evil That Men Do
I've recently been watching the show Criminal Minds on TV. I am overwhelmed by the evil things one human can do to another. My question is what scares or surprises you most about the evil that men do. IMO it is the pure absence of conscious evil people have that is the most frighting thing.
As long there is need and want in the world, there will people who do anything to get it. I really dont get surprised by the things I hear about on the news, more sad. The only time I do get surprised is when cannibalism or incest is involved.
it is the need, as jb123 stated, but some do evil deeds just because they can or because they find a guilty pleasure in it, with no remorse. we are all defined by our actions and put in brown little boxes by society, by different categories... but then, there are those that don't fit society's pattern...the realy fucked up ones... that do things with no conscience, don't even think too much about consequences...they just do it, cause it makes them feel good, happy, in their own fucked up mind

Im sure there are many Dexter fans amongst us,If you have not seen this series yet then watch it,it truly is an amazing show!!. It will give you a very good insight in to the serial killers mind, they have no remorse,feelings or care for human beings. They have many reasons why they do what they do(usually effected from childhood). Evil men...Hmmm there are plenty of evil women too, i always watch a program on sky called i.d that shows women in jail for being evil and premeditated murders of their husbands and relatives. There is no control over a mixed up childhood that usually turns in to frustration,anger,revenge,whatever you want to call it but we can't blame the child for that,its always down to parents and how they bring up their children.
In regards to what people will do to be evil,well... I have been on a somewhat slippery path with life a few times and yes i got to where consequenses didn't matter AT ALL,the cops were my last problem,all i wanted to do was take risks which for me personally revolved around money but serial killers etc well that's another lifestyle.
I posted this with out swearing once!!! lol Different minds,different people,different up bringings.

Living in a developing country I fear what most of the people in my country fears. Torture.
There are way to many people that enjoy the sickest of tortures in men, women and children.
Thats what I fear the most of what people do to each other, the other side are political leaders starving or leading people to crual deaths in order to acomplish power.
A calumny (slander) is also something very cruel, sometimes It can destroy entire families.
Its a sad world in occations.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Literally. Between the years online visiting various 'chan' websites, and the six o'clock news (honestly the most graphic programming out there) I'm pretty desensitized. I've come to realize that the following quote is very much true in society - sadly.
