Yes, just by looking at the mathematical probability, one can say with a 100% certainty that Extraterrestrial life forms do exist. I believe that they exist but I haven't had an encounter of any sort.

I've always been a fan of science, science fiction etc. I do tent to keep an open mind in terms of evolution and creationism, however, most of the times i tend to lean to evolution. Given the estimates as to the age of the universe and the time frames for the evolution of man, i certainly think that it's possible for other highly advanced beings to exist. They've certainly had the time to evolve way past anything we can possibly imagine. And going by natural selection, who's to say the human race won't evolve to such an extent with the coming times that it'll cease to be anything like the original design? (might have strayed off a bit in the end, interesting read, this topic).
I realy doubt the existence of any other living beings, this is based on my strong believe in God. Seeing as that is also a rather hard one to prove to a very scientific comunity I probably should have kept my mouth shut(or finges still). Having said all that, in the unlikely event that I am wrong, I would just like to point out that space is a pretty big place. That brings me to the fact that ships sometimes pass each other without the one knowing of the other. Now in ading all this random stuff together to form a point, just this: there is a chance that alliens exist but we are most probably not ever going to prove this beyond a doubt. Now ask youself: If a light shines where nobody can see it, does it realy shine?![]()
I think mathematically it's extremely likely that there is. Though I haven't encountered any as of yet (crossing my fingers I will) I still believe there is some other form of life out there other then us.
Aliens exist, have you not seen Independence Day!?
Seriously speaking I am 100% certain they are. Bacteria has been discovered on Mars, over centuries they will evolve, in other galaxies they may have evolved so much they could look like humanoids, or in worst cases the Aliens from the Alien movies.
To species outside earth we are Aliens so yes, Aliens do exist. :)
Its almost certain that some other kind of life forms exist. Among those life forms I'd say there is a reasonable chance that those living things have managed to also evolve into something with some consciousness. Even possible that they have evolved to the point where they have the technology to move around in space. However it would seem to me that if an alien actually would have come here, that it would be too much to cover up. Once they found us once, its not like they would only send an occasional scout over here to check us out. They would either move in to take over or open up communications.
How would humans handle it if we found another planet with intelligent life? That planet would not be able to cover it up either.
i do bealive that they exist.i never seen a space ship or something like that.
Interesting question. From a scientific point of view, there is a high probability that there is other forms of life somewhere in this universe. However, consider the many millions (if not billions) of species of life that exist on earth. How many of these species are advanced enough to be capable of communicating over the large distances? 1 - us. We are kind of an anomaly amongst all life forms, to have such a level of intelligence to even ask the question 'are we alone?' Therefore I don’t believe we will ever communicate with any alien life... as they are not likely to be as intelligent/advanced as we are.
