I don't know specifically what dreams are. I know they come from within our minds, so I would think they are more of a guide to what's going on within you, as opposed to the future. They are more than likely messages pertaining to activities within the subconscious. I think.

I have read many books and listened to many tracks with that theory. I thinks it is partially true as the future does not hold in you're dreams but in your subconcious and that you're subconcious manifests by dreaming.

I had an old book that explained dreams in French, and each time i checked a dream on it, i had the sensation it was true. Although with hindsight now, I think every thing would look true even if you swap the explanation for each type of dream.

I love my dreams! I have been shot, stabbed, strangled, run over and shagged by beautiful women... I could not live without my dreams.
I guess I have read too many books and watched too much crap films lol
The dreams have been so powerful and intense I could feel the bullets slamming into me and also feel myself lying in a pool of my own blood.
Obviously the sex dreams are the best :D

Yes in a way dreams are a guide to your future. You dream of whatever is foremost in your mind, that leads me to think that your dreams wil sometimes aome up with the solution to some problem you've been pondering. Then acting on a idea aquired in a dream makes you believe your dreams guides you, while in my opioion all thats happened is that your subconriour has already worked out events to their logic conclusion.

Dreams don't predict anything. As far as I can tell they are just training you for stressful situations that you may encounter when you are awake. I am also comforted by the fact that if I ever die in some frightening way, I know it won't be too scary because I have done it in my dreams hundreds of times.
