We are monitoring the sun all the time, if there were big changes, we would notice it, these reaction dont happen in 1 sec.
So I dont believe in people who dont know sh*t (Mayans) and predict something without evidence.Just saying that it will happen nothing else.
So if the end would come, all of humanity would be warned and then you get FtN invite.:P
All the end of the world scenarios have bean predicted all the time, so I dont believe the world will end when the Mayens predicted it, the other ones, same story.:)

I think some people read into things way too much or maybe just too literally. Look at many religions, normal people write books and then people start believing in that book and those writings then next thing you know you have a cult...excuse me, a religion. I also believe that we can't predict everything, but at the same time I'm a very scientific person, so what nitrogen said is kinda what I think...
