Thread: Aliens, do you believe they exist?

I believe there is "something" out there. Surely we can't be alone in this vast universe?
I often wonder where or why the human race went wrong as far as technology is concerned. Take the pyramids, Human built or a far superior "visitor"?
There are so many stories on UFO's etc that cannot be explained away.
Perhaps we shouldn't try to imagine aliens as having human form.

I do. I am a believe in the ancient aliens theory, to a large extent.

I certainly believe in other races out there in the universe. Just take this small piece of info...on our earth alone, we have tribes that have been untouched by modern technology or modern humans in general. For hundreds if not thousands of years these tribes have existed and we still know nothing about them. Think about the depths of our oceans and the amount of life that is contained down there that we have yet to see...

If I thought that in the millions (if not billions) of planets out there in the universe that the human (earth) race was the only intelligent species out there, I might be considered somewhat crazy. Don't get me wrong people see things and translate that into whatever they want to believe, not to mention over years and years of telling that same story, it can turn into something entirely different.

Someone had said it earlier...we are just a small speck of dust on the desert of the universe. We think we are top of the food chain, but in reality, we're just bottom feeders until we gain a better understanding of how EVERYTHING works.

That we do not have knowledge is in fact wrong, we have volumes of knowledge, we do not have is knowledge that confirms that aliens would have helped the Egyptians, but that does not mean that we have no knowledge. There are those who say that "lack of evidence is not evidence of absence", but it is a truth with profound modifications, both positive and negative leave it as demonstrating the same degree of truth.

How come all this so called evidence belongs to the past ? more like ancient times :-/

Ya, you'd think that with the enormous technological advancements that have come, the odds of capturing any evidence would be almost infinitely increased.

yeah i think somethings bound to be out there somewhere . if they have ever been to earth though i'm not sure .

i don't believe in dinosaurs ever existed though but that's another topic

The working conditions back then were so different than anything we could ever imagine now. Masses and masses of people probably worked on structures with little rest. We have workers rights and human rights now....if we didn't then we would be able to match what they used to do in such a quick time frame.
