It is a concept I now accept.
Copies? Not cloning, but teleportation, which is envisioned to be transportation of matter at the molecular scale, or more precisely, "destroying" your form and rebuilding it at a second location, no copies involved.

I read something about teleportation. when we get into a device it turn us into data and transfer it to the other device and rebuilt the data(us) into a solid object. Imagine if we turn into data we can edit this data and change the data to become perfect humans.

While I could go into great detail on the pro's and con's (being quite the sci-fi junkie), all of what I have to say is already covered in this thread. So to make things quick, I wouldn't, not after watching Fringe.

If it was safe, then yes, absolutely! I'd also like to be able to fly, read minds, turn invisible and.. Well, time to stop dreaming, wait no, actually it's bedtime, lol, anyway I can't see any of these things happening in the near future except mind reading, I think they have made some progress on that field actually. The answers to whether teleportation ever will be possible lies in nuclear physics. I think they've even done an experiment where they detected a particle being in two places at once. So, never say never.

I think at some point 99% of humanity will be forced to use the teleporters to remain competitive in the world once it is in full swing.
I read that they teleported an atom.. and now they created successfully transferred a complex set of quantum data in light form. So it will happen at some point in time.

But we need to be careful. We will need to study past problems with teleporting.
Example I believe a software corporation ENCOM was working on a system many years ago. Trying to keep the original aspect ratio could be an issue like with Mike TeeVee. Also Seth Brundle I believe was unable to separate and keep all data distinct.

As a truckdriver I am absolutely fasinated by the idea of instant travel, if only they could build a machine big enough for a truck, I would use up 2 a year!!!

Do you have a source for this ? I would like to read it.

It will happened some day. Imagine what would someone said about electricity or any modern technology in middle age :D . But then after a few centuries humanity got some brilliant minds. For example Nikola Tesla. Even then some thought his ideas were impossible and laughable... If we took him seriously maybe we would be one step closer to teleportation... A great mind indeed, and yet he never got the credit he deserves. I'm sure many of you have heard of him, for those who didn't check it out, you will be amazed what he left us and what he could leave us..

In his later years, Tesla was fascinated with the idea of light as both a particle and a wave, the fundamental proposition of what would become quantum physics. This field of inquiry led to the development of his death ray. Tesla also had the idea of creating a "wall of light" by manipulating electromagnetic waves in a certain pattern. This mysterious wall of light would enable time, space, gravity and matter to be altered at will, and engendered an array of Tesla proposals that seem to leap straight out of science fiction, including anti-gravity airships, teleportation and time travel.

I guess that can never be applied to any organic material including all living things but i think its practical on the solids level at least in a 2100 lab test
